Introduction or “What it’s all about”FunPhotor is a fun-filled photo blending software. You know this widely popular attraction offering you to peep out of a backdrop and make a picture of yourself as a king, president or some literary character. It’s a lot of fun to look at such pictures while browsing your photo album. It surely will trigger your memory later causing pleasant flashbacks and you feel sort of proud of that impersonation thing you have once experienced. On top of that the excitement you get doubles if you're taking a group photo. Characters on the backdrop and their postures can be as various as one can imagine: someone is the spitting image of a rabbit, the other is a lion and someone may choose to be a baby for a little while. Whoever you choose to be against any background there’ll always be the same face – your face! And just like that you get the very same photo with the help of FunPhotor. All you need is a mouse, the software and any photo with a distinct image of your face.  AppearanceIn spite of flashy solid icons and pretty soft colors the overall design of FunPhotor doesn’t look so effective as it might be. Though it’s quite obvious that the colors were chosen to match the idea of “Fun” still there is something repelling about the program’s design that makes you think it’s sort of cheap. One could say the graphic design lacks harmony and gravity. On the other hand it’s extremely conducive to all sorts of experiments without any fear to have about the possible result. Usability testing (shortly about operation)Just a few short steps separate you from an exclusively unique pic created with FunPhotor. These four steps couldn’t be easier as the software itself is very easy to use. Among other settings you can even adjust brightness in order to fine tune the image. The graphic design of FunPhoto may not seem impressive enough at first sight but what comes as a surprise next is how realistic the image looks, let alone its high quality. Interestingly enough, during the first start FunPhoto offers you a short video (it can later be found in the menu) guiding you through all the steps necessary for editing your photos (it lasts several minutes). On watching the video you’ll definitely be able to make a Fun Photo of your own. User’s notesFunPhotor has a great number of templates but quality of many of them leaves much to be desired. It's refreshing though that different themes of templates are represented so you can always find one you like best. Another cool thing is the possibility to build your own custom templates. FunPhotor allows picking an image and choosing an area for blending a different face. Besides it’s up to you to choose a location of the portrait that you’re adding to a template. FunPhotor also supports video cameras but only for secondary functions. With the software you can save your photos in any of the 5 kinds of formats including jpeg, bmp, gif, png and tiff and stamp text on your images with customized font and color. Not satisfied with many templates (due to their low quality) and graphic design of the software; that’s what needs improvement. On the whole it does let you create really funny photos.
